Today I went to a media education and literacy conference and UConn (the northeastern media education and literacy conference) There was this great keynote speaker. His name is Mike Wesch. He is a culture anthropologist from Kansas State university. He is basically studying how media affects culture.
Anyways, I wanted to link people to a video he made and videos he has done with his students.

This video explains how the internet is changing, our role in the change, and suggests questions to ask about how it will change us. (the last 30 seconds, the "rethinking" part). One of his points that I think is important to note is that, in the title, the machine is us and using us. I think he gets this sort of idea from Marshall Mcluhan who is great to read or listen to, especially if you are a human being alive today.
